Watch Teletubby and Moses get arrested at the Capitol while angry bystanders demand the release of the purple teletubby, the “moral fiber of America.” See activists hit the streets demonstrating against Ted Kennedy’s Thought Control Bill to give homosexuals special privileges. Go to http://publicadvocateusa.org/ or http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YUBj51aLV1AThis shows Public Advocate demonstrating in Washington, DC, protesting the Local Law Enforcement Hate Crimes Protection Act (H.R. 1592), which would grant special rights to homosexuals. This law would add sexual orientation to federal hate crimes statutes.
I have no idea what this comment has to do with the post, but suffice it to say that it doesn't seem to me that you are advocating freedom but are advocating oppression. The federal hate crimes statute only applies to conduct, not speech or ideas. And, it is a basic human right, not a special right, to be protected from violent conduct directed at you solely because of who you are (black, white, female, male, gay or straight) or because of what you believe (Christian, Muslim, atheist). It is past time for the hate crimes statute to be amended to protect people who are victims of violent conduct because of their sexual orientation.
